| Specialty Foods Product Awards Competition |
| | The CT Specialty Food Association (CSFA) held its eighth Product Awards Competition recently at the Aqua Turf in Plantsville. One hundred seventy-eight specialty food items from Connecticut-based manufacturers were entered into 19 categories, with hopes of receiving the prestigious honor of CSFA Product Award Winner 2008.

| | To help roll out the new publication, Planning for Agriculture: A Guide for Connecticut Municipalities, Connecticut Conference Of Municipalities is hosting workshops in nine locations across the state in early December. The workshops will be open to local officials, local employees, members of the agriculture community, and members of the public.
