Specialty Foods Product Awards Competition
  The CT Specialty Food Association (CSFA) held its eighth Product Awards Competition recently at the Aqua Turf in Plantsville. One hundred seventy-eight specialty food items from Connecticut-based manufacturers were entered into 19 categories, with hopes of receiving the prestigious honor of CSFA Product Award Winner 2008.

Governor Rell Announces Marketing Funds Available for Eligible CT Food Businesses Program Helps Promote Connecticut Products in Foreign Markets
  Governor Rell announced today that small businesses in Connecticut that specialize in Connecticut-grown food products may be eligible for up to $300,000 each in federal funds to help market their products internationally.

CT Conference of Municipalities (CCM) Workshops Scheduled: Planning for Agriculture
  To help roll out the new publication, Planning for Agriculture: A Guide for Connecticut Municipalities, Connecticut Conference Of Municipalities is hosting workshops in nine locations across the state in early December. The workshops will be open to local officials, local employees, members of the agriculture community, and members of the public.
